Systems

Live systems for sound, projection, and stage response

These systems were built to let musical state travel intact across performance layers, from scale and swara logic to color identity, shader behavior, projection, and stage lighting.

RagaX — musical core

RagaToColor — color identity

Visualization runtime — shader world

RagaLights — fixture response

Integrated Live Media System

The live setup is not a collection of isolated tools. It is a performance architecture in which raga selection, controller mapping, color behavior, shader selection, projection logic, and lighting response operate as parts of the same expressive surface.

RagaX

RagaX is the musical core of the system. It manages raga selection, scale behavior, and controller remapping so performance remains rooted in musical integrity rather than preset switching.

RagaToColor

RagaToColor establishes the raga identity color and translates active swaras into a live color language, providing the visual foundation shared by both projections and lighting.

Visualization Runtime

The visualization runtime uses a controller, OSC parameter bridge, and shader system to turn raga part, meend, anchor notes, and phrase motion into evolving projection behavior in real time.

RagaLights

RagaLights extends the same musical-state stream into fixture behavior on stage, making lighting feel like an extension of the performance rather than an external layer added afterward.

What matters is not only that these systems function technically, but that they preserve nuance while widening what a live raga performance can become.
