How the systems work together

This architecture was built so that musical thought does not stop at the instrument. A raga decision changes how the controller feels, how the color field behaves, how the shader world evolves, and how the stage itself responds.

One musical state, multiple live layers

The system is designed so that raga identity and playing behavior can move downstream without losing coherence. Each stage has a distinct role, but all of them are tied to the same live musical state.

1. RagaX

RagaX ensures that playability and raga identity remain coherent at the point of performance. Scale logic, controller behavior, and live musical state begin here.

2. RagaToColor

RagaToColor gives each active swara a visual life, extending melodic logic into a continuous color space and establishing the raga identity used downstream.

3. Visualization Runtime

The visualization runtime turns part, bend, anchor, and color data into evolving projection behavior, so raga motion becomes visible without being reduced to decoration.

4. RagaLights

RagaLights carries the same live state into fixtures and DMX space, so the physical stage responds in continuity with the projected image world.

Why this architecture

The value of the system is not automation for its own sake. It is the ability to carry expressive intent across sound, projected image, and lighting without breaking continuity in live performance.
